Deposits and no-shows
Deposits that protect your busiest nights.
Take a deposit for any service, special date or large group. Guests pay by card, or by Apple Pay or Google Pay where available, and the money goes straight into your own Stripe account, with no VIEreserve fee on top.

How deposits work
- Choose where they apply. Set a deposit on any service, such as Friday dinner or a Christmas menu. Deposits are included on both plans.
- Large groups ask first. Bigger groups send a request, which you accept or decline. When you accept, the guest is emailed a link to pay.
- Paid straight to you. Deposits go into your own Stripe account. Stripe's card fees apply; VIEreserve adds nothing.
- Chase in one place. Pending Actions lists every deposit still to pay. Resend the link, waive the deposit with a reason, or cancel the booking.
- Paid at the door? Record a deposit paid in person.
Fewer no-shows, without the awkward calls
- An automatic reminder email before every booking.
- Guests change or cancel from their confirmation email, so you get the table back in time to rebook it.
- A waiting list to fill late gaps.
- Mark a no-show in a tap, and undo it if the guest turns up late.
- Your booking terms on your booking page, so guests know the deposit rules before they pay.
